Account Management
This account deletion process applies to the Y-Tech وايتك app developed by Y-Tech.
⚠️ Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone after the 24-hour grace period.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Open the Y-Tech وايتك app on your device
- Navigate to the Profile screen (tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation)
- Scroll down to the bottom of the screen
- Tap on "Delete Account"
- Read the warning message about the 24-hour grace period
- Tap "Proceed" to receive an OTP (One-Time Password) via SMS
- Enter the OTP code to verify your identity
- Confirm your deletion request
✓ Grace Period: You have 24 hours to cancel the deletion by simply logging back into your account. After 24 hours, your account will be permanently deleted.
What Data is Deleted
The following data will be permanently deleted:
- Personal information (name, phone number, email)
- Profile settings and preferences
- Saved addresses and locations
- Payment methods and tokenized card information
- Driver profile information (if applicable)
- Service area settings (for providers)
- Push notification tokens
Data Retention
The following data may be retained for legal and operational purposes:
- Order history and transaction records (retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance)
- Payment transaction logs (retained as required by financial regulations)
- Audit logs and security records (retained for fraud prevention and legal compliance)
- Chat messages related to support tickets (retained for quality assurance)
Retained data is anonymized where possible and kept only as long as legally required.
📝 Important: If you have any active orders or pending payouts, please complete or cancel them before deleting your account.
